Bio
Kukāro (Will Sacks) is a Nashville-based organic funk & dance music producer, performer, & creator. Kukāro is focussed on using sound as a transformational vehicle for healing, insight and celebration.
A micronesian word that means to relax into the flow of life, Kukāro is more than just the music, it is an organic movement growing around the frequency of love and connection.
The founder and resident DJ of Ecstatic Dance Nashville, Kukāro performs both solo DJ sets or with a full band as part of the Kukāro Live Ecstatic Experience - a fully improvised show that unites dancers and musicians in a shared experience of celebration & transcendence.
Kukāro has performed at festivals across North America like Arise Festival, Full Bloom, Fireflies Forest & Burning Man, toured internationally, and performed alongside artists such as Random Rab and Tasha Blank.
Kukāro is available to bring a vibe of joy & connection to venues and private events in various configurations from solo DJ, to small ensembles, to full 14-piece band & production with set design, backing vocals, dancers and horn section.
